Abstract Background A perennial house dust mite-associated allergic rhinitis has a major impact on the quality of life patients and is associated with high socioeconomic burden. The most common symptoms include runny nose nasal congestion, sneezing, itching nose, mouth and/or throat, ocular symptoms. Affected often develop bronchial asthma. Therapy options for allergen avoidance, symptomatic treatment, immunotherapy. Allergen immunotherapy only disease-modifying treatment that can permanently alleviate rhinitis. In July 2021, new sublingual mite tablet was approved in Germany. Methods This review summarizes clinical studies 300 IR (index reactivity) adolescents adults presents results.
